Our Munich truck made it back OK and arrived before the snow came in.  Our Essen truck also left early Sunday morning so managed to get to Essen in plenty of time.

The snow is just a few cms and the approaches to our unit will be clear.

Not entirely looking forward to sweeping snow but it shouldn’t take long with our new snow plow!  Business as usual !

The event was a busy one for not only Expofreight, but for exhibitors alike. We handled shipments for exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Canada, USA, Netherlands and all over the United Kingdom. All shipments were delivered on-time and we have many satisfied customers.

We have been appointed as the Lifting and freight contractor to Salon International 2011 which is an appointment we have had since 2002.

We are delighted to again be involved with such a successful and high profile event.

The services provided to Salon will include

• World-wide transportation and shipping from origin to the stand at ExCel
• Customs clearance
• On-site handling (unloading and delivery to stand and reloading after the event)
• Stocks storage

We will also be on-site throughout the event to assist Customers with anything that they made need.

A new service this year is that we will have a stand at the event for visitors of the show to bring their purchases for shipping home.  As overseas visitors were unable to purhcase product as airlines wont allow liquids as hand luggage, a gap was identified where we could help.  This year we will have packaging and on-site drop off point.

These quilts were sent to our warehouse for consolidation where we have sorted them into their competitions and then delivered all to the NEC for unpacking and hanging.

We have also handled the importation of exhibits and gallery shipments from around the Globe to the NEC and will be returning them to their artists and owners after the event.
