Wayne started out in IT, working for an exhibition freight agent in Birmingham.  He swiftly moved into their operations department and headed the NEC operations.  He handled some of the largest events at the NEC to include management of forklifts, cranes, labour and scheduling vast quantities of trucks and movements globally.

He didn’t want to stay in this role as it was not sufficiently challenging and moved onto to a large event freight forwarder in the South East.

After 2 years, he moved to Chicago to work for a US trade show Customs broker.  His role there was to develop the international side of the business and successfully took the company from zero sales in international events to a leading force in under 2 years.

After his return to the UK, Wayne co-founded Expofreight with Bill Bowden and now co-manages the operations department.  His role takes him world-wide for our clients.

Bill started his working career in the airfreight industry and went on to own his own airfreight business, dealing with large and outsize freight moving to obscure and hard to reach areas such as Nigeria and other areas of Africa.  He then decided on a change and moved into the events industry in 1996, working for a large exhibition freight company in the South East and was the Manager of the Operations department.

Bill co-founded Expofreight  with Wayne Forster and now co-manages the operations team  and represents us at world-wide events.

Most people first ask what is Blon short for!  It’s a shortened version of an Irish name, Blanaid, meaning flower, blossom.

Blon has many years experience in sales & marketing in a variety of industries, most prominently for  a large American airline where she also handled their exhibition logistics. Blon joined Expofreight in 2007 to look after our marketing and provide operational support.  She now manages the offices here and still heads our marketing.

Roy joined us in 2002 and has driven our vehicles to most European destinations.  He has also headed operations and on-site at events, not only in Europe, but in the USA and the Middle East.

Tony joined us in 2011 to support our operations team.  His background includes most recently working for a timber frame house builder company where he worked as an estimator and designer.  His attention to detail is exceptional and has passion for quality in everything he does.

Sandra started at Natwest where she was fast tracked to the central management team at the Head Office in Croydon, Surrey.  After an extended maternity leave, she moved into commercial accounts and joined Expofreight in 2002 to head our accounting.
